Study Abroad Award for Spring

- For undergraduate students who are majoring or minoring in German and intend to study abroad
- Academic requirements: The completion of through Intermediate II (or equivalent if doing Credit by Prior Learning) by the time the scholarship is awarded. GPA of 3.00 in German; overall GPA of 2.5
- Students will need to apply and will be advertised. (2025 advertising plans: Newswire, German courses, and possibly Study Abroad’s “Funding” portion of their website)
- Selection will be made by the faculty in German language
Criteria:
1) GPA of 3.00 in German; overal GPA of 2.5
2) proof that the student has applied to the study abroad program
3) student essay that outlines intellectual curiosity, growth, and continued commitment to improving language skills, including any participation in German cultural events on campus and extracurricular learning
