Rickey Medlock and Scott Heffington PRIDE in Education Scholarship

The Rickey Medlock and Scott Heffington PRIDE in Education Scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student with demonstrated financial need. The Rickey Medlock and Scott Heffington PRIDE in Education Scholarship will accept applications that meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
• Undergraduate degree-seeking student in good academic standing
• Enrolled part time (minimum of 6 credit hours for Fall 2025 Semester) and in good academic standing
• Demonstrated record of service and/ or leadership in the community, on campus, or in a civic organization; enrolled at the University of Arkansas at least part-time
• Demonstrated high financial need. Consideration may also be given to first-generation college-going status, having a record of overcoming challenges, or being from a geographical area that is less well-represented at the University
