Professor Edward E. Dale Research Award
The purpose of the Professor Edward E. Dale Research Award will be to support students with financial need and academic potential who demonstrate an interest to pursue and conduct research under the supervision and mentorship of a faculty member at University.
Eligible students should review following criteria and requirements:
a) Each applicant will be evaluated based on the student’s academic potential, aptitude, and interest in gaining new knowledge through research, with the goal of inspiring students to succeed academically and consider graduate education/research.
b) Preference will be given to students with an interest in botany.
c) Each applicant must complete an application through the document included to be considered for the research award.
d) The research award must be used to directly support the recipient’s research project.
e) The recipient will be required to write a report at the conclusion of their research project and provide a complimentary copy to Dr. Huffman that will accompany his annual stewardship report.
