Stephen Carr Memorial Scholarship

The Stephen Carr Memorial Endowed Scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis to students at the University of Arkansas who are pursuing a major in a law enforcement related field with a demonstrated interest in athletics. The Stephen Carr Memorial Scholarship will consider applications that meet the following criteria: 

• Students enrolled full time with a desire to pursue a major in a law enforcement related field, including, but not limited to, criminal justice, criminology, and/or sociology
• Demonstrated interest in athletics through participation in high school, junior college, intramural or recreational sports at the University of Arkansas
• Demonstrated current University or community on or off-campus leadership experiences and/or work/internship experiences
• Recipients must be in good academic standing with at least at 2.75 grade point average
• Financial need (has a FASFA on file)
