W.E. Manning Memorial Scholarship
To be considered for the Manning scholarship, U of A students must be enrolled in an online undergraduate or graduate program, seeking a degree, demonstrate financial need, academic merit and/or significant community service. Preference will be given to first-generation higher education seekers and Arkansas residents. For the purpose of this award, a student is defined as a first-generation student if neither parent earned a higher education degree. The W.E. Manning Memorial Scholarship Fund was created by colleagues and friends of William E. Manning in 1993, after his untimely death. At the time of Manning’s passing, he was the Director of Credit Studies and had worked at the University of Arkansas for 19 years.
