Neil Compton Scholarship in Natural Sciences

Awarded to a junior, senior, or graduate student whose major course of study is in the department of Biological Sciences or Geosciences. The student shall have attained academic distinction through his or her studies. Preference shall be given to candidates involved in or with a proposed thesis or special project in a subject that has relevance to the protection of the environment in the Ozark and Ouachita mountains regions. Student shall be a U.S. citizen with preference given to a student from Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana, or Oklahoma.
