The Hazel and Derek Sears Endowed Scholarship in Space and Planetary Sciences

The purpose of The Hazel and Derek Sears Endowed Scholarship in Space and Planetary
Sciences will be to support students enrolled in University and currently conducting research
with faculty members in the Arkansas Center for Space and Planetary Sciences at the
University of Arkansas.

Eligible students must be conducting research with a faculty member in the Arkansas Center for Space and Planetary Sciences and meet one of the following criteria:
a) a graduate program in the Graduate School and International Education;
b) undergraduate research programs (e.g., NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates program or similar);
c) conducting research as part of their degree requirements in the Honors College; or
d) conducting research as independent studies with a member of the space center faculty.
