  1. This scholarship is available for students seeking a Master of Athletic Training with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA. A supplemental application is required and must be submitted by the General Scholarship Application Deadline (February 15). Please follow the instructions below.
    • Are you seeking a Master of Athletic Training from the College of Education and Health Professions?
    • As an athletic trainer, you have just been provided a formal annual evaluation by your supervisor. The main point of your evaluation is that you possess an impeccable work ethic. Describe what this means?
    • Essay Prompt: Consider the following scenario from the perspective of a professional athletic trainer. How would you approach the following situation? Two starters are injured and unable to play. You teach 3 classes and must prepare and lead those classes every day. An unexpected issue has presented itself in your personal life which may create a scheduling conflict for you, and there are no other staff available to assist.
    • How do you plan to incorporate Evidence Based Practice (EBP) in your clinical practice within the first 2-3 years of your professional career?
    • Identify an event that has occurred within the last year that will help shape the future of the athletic training profession.
    • List all extra-curricular activities (service and research) you have been involved with as an ATS outside of classroom, clinical requirements, and community while enrolled in the Athletic Training Program.
