Margaret A. Stearns Fellowship

This prestigious fund awards $9,000 annually (split Fall/Spring) and is renewable for up to an additional three years. Eligible applicants will be incoming freshmen in the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences with a 3.5 or higher grade point average and 28+ ACT score (or equivalent SAT). Preference is given to students graduating from an Arkansas high school who demonstrate strong leadership qualities in high school, church, and civic organizations. Successful completion of 30 credit hours each year and maintaining a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average is required for renewal. This fund may be used to study abroad if the student chooses, but cannot combine with Chancellor’s or University Scholarships.
